Hi, my name is Julee Bennett. I am the owner of Apex Bookkeeping Pros and a certified bookkeeper with nearly a decade of hands-on experience. I’ve built my practice on accuracy, integrity, and personal connection.
I was born and raised in Chico, California, where I grew up in a large, close-knit family that believed in showing up for one another. Whether it was someone needing help, a birthday, a holiday, or a weekend sports tournament, we made the commitment to be there for each other. Those early values of support, hard work, and connection have shaped the way I approach both life and business.
I live in Hugo, Oklahoma, with my amazing husband (who I met while living abroad in Mallorca, Spain), and together we’ve built a life we love—complete with animals, a garden, and plenty of outdoor time. I’m also a proud mom of two daughters: one is a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army Medical Services, and the other is working toward grad school in forensic science. We're a family rooted in strong Christian values, with deep ties to both Paris, TX, and Chico, CA, where we regularly visit for community events, connection, and—most importantly—family.
Bookkeeping is something I naturally gravitated toward thanks to my love of organization and having a mother who was a bookkeeper most of her life. After 16 wonderful years with one employer, I took the leap and launched my own business, backed by industry certifications and a strong belief in doing things the right way. I especially love helping clients get caught up, cleaned up, and set up for success. When I’m not working, I’m happiest outdoors doing activities such as pickleball, hiking, gardening, or spending time by the water. Life is busy, but I believe in staying grounded and doing meaningful work that makes a difference.
